Oceano Dunes | Photos of a beautiful California Beach Posted on October 30, 2016November 2, 2016 by beach On the way to Oceano Dunes Beach, I passed by the Rock and Roll Diner, which is an old passenger train converted into a restaurant. I have always wanted to eat here, I’ve heard it is great! Right near Oceano beach, I saw a bird estuary surrounded by a nice park. Heading down the road towards Oceano Dunes, I saw large reeds surrounding a bird refuge. I got up close and peeked in, it was quite an experience. After crawling up and over a large sand dune at Oceano Beach, I could see the ocean breaking on the shore in the distance. The entrance to Oceano beach, off in the distance is the expansive Pacific Ocean, this is one of the best places to be on California’s Central Coast. When I walked onto Oceano Beach, I was greeted by the welcoming committee of Seagulls. I was surprised to see a memory from my past drive by, a US Army jeep. I think this was a little before my time, as we drove massive HumVees while I was in the service. Looking down the beach at the tracks left by the various vehicles driving along the sea shore, I was not accustomed to seeing vehicles on the beach. As the waves came rolling in, I couldn’t help but be in awe of the magnificence of the vast Pacific Ocean. I relaxed as the sound of the waves came rolling into Oceano Dunes Beach. It was so peaceful and comforting. The water on the shore reflected the rays of the Sun, a sparking sight to behold. I love Oceano Beach. The Oceano Dunes rose above the shores of the beach. The weather was great, and I enjoyed the fragrant smell of the ocean water. From atop a sand dune at Oceano Beach, I could see the waves crashing in the distance. Central Coast, California is a great place to enjoy a vacation. In the distance from atop a dune, I saw a lone lifeguard tower, while it was unmanned today, on busy beach going days, a lifeguard is on the lookout for anybody who is in trouble in the sea. Hi Penny and Mom, cutest doggie in the world. She is trudging through the dunes at Oceano Beach. The California coastline seems to go on forever. In the distance, I can see the foreboding fog rolling in. Penny, the wonder dachshund, found a hole to dig in on the sand dunes. I wonder what is inside? Vegetation quickly engulfs the dunes at Oceano. Many different types of plants thrive on the Central Coast of California.
